SUMMARY:5PM - Digital Illustration 3
DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAY \nToday we continued the lesson on learning how to draw hands. We used pictures of real life hands to learn about the simple shapes an anatomy that is in a hand. This helps us understand the structure of the hand better\, and will allow us to draw more convincing hands\, even if they are cartoon and not realistic. \n \nToday we also started on a new project – to put into practice what we have learned so far in drawing hands. So far we have done the body sketch\, applied the face\, and started on sketching the shape of the hands. \n \nHOMEWORK \nMore hands practice! We are going to do a similar exercise that we did in class\, but slightly more difficult. \nSTEPS: \n\nTake FOUR pictures of your hand\, each picture a different pose. Try to do something different that what we did in class already. At least one pose should be your hand interacting with an object.\nStart a new square canvas (2040 x 2040)\nDivide the canvas into four equal sections.\nImport your photos. One in each section.\nFor each pose\, do what we did in class. Lower the opacity of the photo so that you can find the shapes that make up the hand and draw it over the photo.\nAfter you find the shapes\, use that practice to try to draw that hand pose without tracing. You may look at the photo as a reference on another device.\nDo this for each of the four poses.

SUMMARY:6 PM - Intro To Python - Gamas
DESCRIPTION:Today We Do\n\nWe finished with Robot Builder project.\nWe continued with draw_circle function.\nWe continuously draw two circles with different colors\n\nHomework\n\nIn the class\, only one of the circles is changing the color. Make the second circle change the color.\nRandomize the X and Y coordinates of the circle inside the whilte loop. Use random.randint to generate random x and y coordinate.\nMake some progress on your turtle project.

SUMMARY:7 PM Intro To Java - Alex
DESCRIPTION:Today We Did:\n\nReviewed the Magic8Ball Homework\nStarted talking about Object-Oriented Programming\nLearned about how to use methods and the difference between void methods and return type methods\n\nFor Homework:\n\nEdit your Magic8Ball project to use an asList instead of having the 8 else ifs\, so there should only be one if for quitting\, and else should randomly print out one of the 8 items from the list.\nCreate a new Java class <date>_MethodsHomework.java\nCreate a new method convertFromFahrenheitToCelcius. It has one parameter int Fahrenheit. Inside the method\, it will convert Fahrenheit parameter into Celcius by using this formula (F − 32) × 5/9 = C . You have to return the result. This is very similar to what we did in the class with addFourNumbers method.\nAlong with that create another method that asks for your favorite song\, and if the song is “Shape of You” then say that it is your favorite song\, otherwise say that the song is alright.
