My suggestion is to do each component on a separate layer. For example\, Background is Layer 1\, Elsa is Layer 2\, Anna is Layer 3\, and so on.\nAnnika: finish adding the flat colors for your whole project. I think you are already doing your different components on separate layers\, so that is good and continue to do that.
