5PM – Beginner Digital Illustration

WEDNESDAY CLASS

Today we finished the Four Flowers project! It turned out beautifully.

We also started a little bit on the next project, which is: Blue Jay.

The only things done today: (progress pictured below)

• [Layer 1]: light gray background
• [Layer 2]: almost white color base shape for the bird
• [Layer 3]: dark gray beak
• transform (move) to make sure there’s room for the long tail at the bottom of the canvas

HOMEWORK

1. Draw a new flower
   • Choose a flower to draw. Different than the ones we already drew.
   • You should find a picture example to look at while you draw.
   • Start a new canvas, any size is fine.
   • Draw your flower using at least three layers, or more, as needed.
2. Catch up on the Blue Jay project to be ready for the next steps
