5PM – Beginner Digital Illustration

MONDAY CLASS 5PM

Today we finished our Four Flowers drawing. Good job on your flowers everyone 🙂

We also started a new project to draw a Blue Jay. We are using a square canvas this time. So far we filled in the background to be a light gray, and we drew the base shape of the bird to start off. As seen below.

HOMEWORK

1. Draw another flower. Use a new canvas to draw another flower that is different than the flowers we drew in class. You can draw any flower that we didn’t use in class already. Use at least three layers for the flower head, the stems and leaves, and the pot. You can use more layers if you want to.
2. Catch up to where we are on the Blue Jay project. We drew the light blue bird base shape that includes the head and body, you can see pictured above. Be ready with this for next class.
