Scratch Coding Summer 2026

Give your kids the opportunity to learn coding with a fun program! Choose from one of these schedules:

A – June 8th to July 22nd, 2026 – MON & WED, 3 PM to 5 PM Pacific Time. No class on June 29th and July 1st.

B – June 4th to July 21st, 2026 – TUE & THU, 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM Pacific Time. No class on June 30th and July 2nd.

  • Online Via Zoom with a live American teacher.
  • School Fee: $600 – 12 two-hour sessions.
  • New Student Registration Fee: $25. Waived for new students or if enrolled before May 31, 2026.

In Scratch Level 1, your kids will learn how to do the following:

  1. Create Games and Animations
  2. Create Augmented reality games that will detect movement from your camera.
  3. Basic Computer Programming
  4. Basic Programing Control Flow such as: For loop, while loop.
  5. Basic Programing Conditional Statements: If-Then, If-Then-Else Statements

Your kids will learn all of the above by having fun creating the following in Scratch:

1. Animation
2. Games
3. Simulation

YES! Your kids can do all of these through our excellent instructor led course.

Minimum age is 10 years old.

Policies:

  1. There is no refund for this course.
  2. Payment can be made electronically via Zelle to gamas@ayclogic.com. A credit card is accepted, but there is an additional surcharge 3%.
  3. If students miss the class, there is no makeup. But we will provide a recorded video of the session.
  4. There will be homework every week. Parents are encouraged to remind kids to do their homework every week. If they don’t do their homework, they will get left behind. If they need help with their homework, they can email the instructor’s emails.
  5. We use this book for this class “Coding Projects in Scratch” by Jon Woodcock
  6. The grading will be according to the following criteria
    • 1 in-class final test (1 hours): 100%
  7. Your student will need to get at least a 70% from the final test in order to move on to the next course, Scratch 2
