5 PM – Scratch Level 1 – Allison

Today we:

• Started the Mary Had a Little Lamb project
• Coded the Ball sprite to grow and shrink when touching the mouse pointer
• Coded the Ball sprite to change colors when touching the mouse pointer
• Learned about the “clear graphic effects” code
• Coded the Ball sprite to play the note C when touching the mouse pointer

Homework:

• Add codes to turn video camera on when the Green Flag is clicked
• Add codes to turn video camera off when we press the space key
• Code the Ball sprite to grow, shrink, and change colors when the video camera senses motion on the Ball sprite (Ex: if you wave your hand on your screen and touch the Ball sprite, the Ball sprite will grow, shrink, and change colors)
• NOTE: You can look at your Window Cleaner and Punch Dummy projects for reference. Try not to look at the references unless you need help
