6PM – Advanced Digital Illustration

MONDAY

Today we did a lesson on the proportions of the face, and where all the features should generally go on a person.  We went over two versions of a face, 1) Forward facing, and 2) 3/4 Side facing.

HOMEWORK

For homework, please draw your own version of a forward face, and a 3/4 face, and another 3/4 face in the other direction.

Steps:

1. Start a new canvas.
2. Sketch the shape with a circle, and use lines to determine the half points.
3. Add a new layer.
4. Draw the face and hair with your own details, using the sketch as a guide.
5. Do steps 2-4 for the 3/4 side face facing left, and also right.

You should have 3 head drawings in total.
