10:30 AM – Scratch Level 2 – Yitong

Today we:

1. Finished the How Old Are You? project.
2. Started the Jumpy Monkey project.

Homework:

1. In your yellow coding book do pages 92-93, steps #3 & 4 ONLY. Only do the launch speed code. Do all of this code inside the Arrow1 sprite.
2. In your yellow coding book do page 94, step #6 ONLY. Only do the launch speed code. Do all of this code inside the Monkey sprite.
3. Add the Tree1 sprite.
4. Add code inside of the Monkey sprite so that when it touches the Tree1 sprite it restarts.
   • Hint: Think about how to combine the “touching edge” and “touching Tree1” code.
