9 AM – Intro to Java – Joel

Today we did:

1. We finished setting up Android Studio and the project.

Homework:

1. Do the homework if you have no more issues with the project.
2. Click on the activity.xml file. On the top right, click on the image icon, which should take you to the two screens where you can edit the display. On the left, you should see a palette, where you can find the buttons, and drag Button into the screen. Click on the attributes on the top right, and change layout_width to 0dp (match constraint). Now make constraints with the 4 directions. The button should be wide, but not tall. It should be quite low on the screen. You can decide how much the constraints are for each direction.
